St. Louise Comprehensive School

Here is where Cam will be teaching. We went to visit the school today and got a chance to tour the enormous school. Cam's first day of in-service is August 25th and the first day of school begins on Aug. 31st. He will be teaching a range of math classes from year 9 (13 year olds) to year 12 (16 year olds). The school has an emphasis on the fine arts. It was neat to see all the art projects that had been completed by the students. We had to drive through downtown Belfast to get to the school so we had a little chance to see more sights. The school is located on Falls road, where lots of turmoil has happened over the years. We passed Belfast Cemetery where the famous hunger strikers are buried. Amazing history here. It felt surreal to be in a place where I have read about.

  1. Bummer. It looks like the weather is cool and cloudy. Oh, just like Oregon...

  2. Yep. It's like Oregon in early spring. It rains in the morning off and on and then clears off a bit. In the 60s
