The Laundry

This is the back of our house. Since we are an island "electric" is very expensive. In the past there has been only one supplier and then within the last six months they have added a second supplier so now the rates should be a little more competitive. We are holding our breath while waiting for our first "electric" bill to come. So, I am trying to learn how to conserve energy by doing laundry the old fashion way. The boys think it is great and love to help right now anyway. I am sure in a month it will wear off. I guess the way they dry the laundry is to leave it outside to drip dry and then drape them over the radiators to finish the drying. We went to Asda (owned by the same company as Wal-Mart) to get my radiator clothing drying racks. It will be an experience.
Playing in the "spacious" backyard!

  3. I have just caught up on your week. The zip line looks like a ton of fun! What kid or adult wouldn't like to fly like that? Thanks for all the great posts, full of your lives and adventures! Will you attend church at the cathedral? It is a beautiful place!

  4. Hey, your kiddos could come and help me. I hang out my washing always. In the winter I even use an inside clothes rack and dry by the fire. One pointed is that you can't be so particular about a litte dust or dirt spots on the knees. You wait until your clothes are "dirty" especially when you have 4 little people. (to be honest, I'm not so sure I would do it if I had 6 in my family, however.)
